I couldent resist a shot after that storm. it went quiet thursday morning wind dropped off and as i live a stones throw from the shore i grabbed some frozen blacks and a few frozen peeler crab from the freezer. we have a lovely deep river mouth ( the walkway )dredged daily so that was the shot for the day. Although the fresh water comming down the river was a bit offputing
the whiting must have shoaled up after the small stuff in the river. fish every cast could hardly hit the bottom nice fish 1lb 1/2 all same size 3 hours later wind blowing a hooligan again
it just shows its worth having frozen bait for those little windows when the weather lets you fish
