South West We wasn’t expecting that!

Could of been a big lobster on your mates line if they frequent there? Sound similar to Roker pier.

I regularly get lovely powerful bites followed by powerful drops Into snags on reel in and apparently its the powerful tail. Feels like a lovely fish that every 10 yards has you in a snag. I've got them back alot too and once off the snag it's light as they've let go and had the bait :ROFLMAO:
No, unfortunately I don’t think they get that far up the estuary.
Also tbh I’m not sure there isn’t a lobster alive you couldn’t drag in with a Supermatch and 30lb line lol.
Especially there where it’s low rocks, mussel beds and mud.

Tbh we suspect it was probably an old line snag, as it moved a bit but went went solid in the end.
