The chesil invasion has begun

Out of interest how long has chesil beach been such a dump at peak periods, would say upt north have personally noticed things getting worse litter wise over last twenty years or so, even the more remote marks and fair to say it’s mostly the poorly bred, dragged up natives causing it for the most part.🤷🏽‍♂️

Since covid it has got noticeably worse, turning into a camp site before Dorset council put in bylaws against camping - though the policing of this is patchy to say the least.

If people continue to park down the coast road at abbo, I am sure that more of the below will be happening again...... as the locals there are not very happy at all....

Not surprising and have got to know a few folks at one venue i fish and have had some good conversations on the subject and their low opinion of anglers due to litter spoiling some areas of their village.
Not virtue signalling but seem to spend more time picking others rubbish to deflect blame from me and enjoy my fishing.

Interesting stuff, have now educated self on the recycling journey of clothes, made in Taiwan or elsewhere and worn in uk among other places and can end up in badly situated landfill in Ghana and ends up in ocean.
In uk as you will know we only pump human waste into our rivers and sea but does not look as obvious as your problem and interesting looking fishing boats.👍

Do you get many rodents or other scavengers at night, must be covered in flies but guess things dry quickly though probably no food for scavengers just human shites and plastics plus old clothes?

the marks up north are being trashed, 99% due to the fkin youtube wankers,
not the ones that dont name marks, but the mark grabbing, floaty n trainer brigade, who parasite marks after hearing about em, ;leaving shit, mess, undersize fish and fucked off locals in their wake

Anyone doing u tube videos good,bad, or ugly is in it for there own gain or personal gratification one way or another especially those fishing at marks which can be recognised or easily worked out with the usual plugs no matter how subtle on this or that.
One particular good lad though quite naive and “brand ambassador” upt north who was a genuine angler ended up with all kind of threats and would no doubt have got a good hiding by some if they had come across him at night and packed in doing it.
For me 2004 when I personally started to notice more crap left at marks and increased ever since to been really noticeable and I only fish in winter. Boils my urine and still surprises me who leaves it, even folks I thought ok.🤷🏽‍♂️
