The Pier will close for the month of November 2022 to enable the Trust to complete the schedule of works which were started earlier in the year.
 
Well done on giving everyone a heads up ?
 
Do we know why?
Not that I venture here in the winter time.
But Goatfish and Captain Haddock amongst others this is a favourite spot for ‘species fishing’

We are very excited to announce that the Pier will reopen for the official light Switch On, Friday 9th December.
✨

⁠Further to ongoing major repair work that is being carried out as part of the Swanage Pier Regeneration Project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund We are delighted that the Pier will be reopening on Friday 9th December from 5.00pm for our Lighting up Lives Switch on Event.
