South West Spring fishing in winter

Branscome was made famous 10 years ago when the Napoli container ship was run aground there you might remember the footage of thousands of people rummageing thru the containers that washed ashore there the fishing was terrible for a few yrs arfter that but it’s ok now famous for dogfish in plague proportions some days but good for hounds come spring have seen bream caught there and herd of trigger off there too my mates had a 36 lb eel off the rough far left and chucks up good bass and Huss in autumn it’s orso the prettiest beach in east Devon in my opinion much better than Seaton which has gone to shit in the past 2 yrs which I thinks down to the amount of nets in the bay but if you ever want a holiday you can rent chalets out on the beach lovely plaice to hang and fish
Was it an Italian ship, skipper said left hand down a bit like the Concordia.

It started cracking up so they were dragging it but tug up to the deep water off Portland but didn’t get there in time the clear up took yrs it made a hell of a mess as you can imagine we were catching nappies for months off Chesil and made branscome unfishable engine blocks and all sorts strewn across the sea bed was cool when they blew it up into sections then some huge barge from Holland come and picked it up the anchor from her has been left at the beach as a momento 14 tonnes of itDC65480F-CA0E-4A00-AE4A-C3FCE2365F81.jpeg

Nice to catch something that pulls back! ?
