2nd trip on the small stuff, down to Poole to have a session with good mate Richard., a local specialist on the little stuff ?
This time I was better prepared and only hampered by the big spring tides and masses of weed!... Always something ?
Anyway, we tried a few marks and slowly I built up the species count, mainly aiming at new stuff for my hunt on here.

Love these things.... The buzzing is just crazy ?

Also had wrasse, gobbies, Shannys, Tompots, pollack etc

Unfortunately I then lost a good fish on a heavier setup... Maybe a big bream ? and finished with a bass before we moved again.
This move didn't pay off as just too much tide and weed!... But we grabbed some grub on route, so at least had a nice view to eat it.
Next we went over to the pier, where I met a couple lads off here. Nice to meet you lads, and hopefully we can sort a trip down Brixham way ?
The Pier turned out to be slow fishing with spiders taking a few hooks!... Not what I was hoping, but at least it picked up a bit at the end.
Luckily, I found 6 fish and 6 species so a result in the end.

The next morning I joined Richard again with one of his guiding clients, and we helped him find a few fish along the Quay.
Nothing new species wise for me, but I did see a 15 spine stickleback which alas vanished as soon as I attached my smallest hook!
A cracking trip with 17 species out and I think 12 for my Hunt.
Cheers Si.
