It’s not to bad really for the area free after 8pm, and it’s a safe area to fish ,
car park in 10 yards from the beach , pm me when you’re going, I’m going this coming Tuesday night I’ll be there around 5pm

Unfortunately I have to take the wife to the hospital so not sure when I will be back.

I have fished at Seaford, Shoreham Beach (widewater) but need a new venue (not a pub)
I've only fished as far as Eastbourne so far in that direction. Been plenty of Dabs coming out and recently there have been some Thornbacks making an appearance. Don't know if that's too far up for you?

Langney Point is not bad to be fair but from what I hear Spash Point is the place for Rays at the moment 🤫

I personally think Langney point is overrated,
It’s ok at the very end for Dover Sole …long beach I think it’s known as?
Splash point is ok for rays but I generally fish
In the bay between the two, had some good sessions with a few rays this time of year.
I’m a bit pi&@ed at the moment as gonna miss the ray season due to recovering from an operation!

Langney point, splash point and king Alfred are all places I've fished and enjoyed in the past. Sadly the carparks all are no go for my motorhome.
Langney Point Eastbourne does have some road side free parking that you could use for your motor home but it would mean a slightly longer walk to the beach with your gear

I agree that Langney Point is over rated but I fish there sometimes with my Dad as he lives about 10mins from there and is convenient for him. I think its ok but nothing amazing.
Sorry to hear youre recovering from an operation, hopefully you'll be back to full health soon and manage to get in some Ray fishing before they disappear back into the deeper water 🤞
