South Coast Selsey East 27.01.23

Fished Selsey East beach on Friday pm 4hrs down into darkness with baits of mackerel and squid wraps.

Initially had a couple of skinny whiting in the daylight but as soon as it got dark, the eels came out to play.

6 straps in total over about 2 hours, absolutely ruining all my rigs. All small, biggest was probably 2.5lb.

Surprised not to see any doggies but nice to see the rod tips bouncing around.
