Fished porthgain today- was meant to fish the quarry section but there were anglers already there so decided to fish a small harbour section not far away.

Parked in the marina, walked up the pretty steep steps and across the hill to the mark.

Weather was overcast cloud, no wind, no rain and no swell.

High water was 16:30- arrived and first cast out around 11:45- fished until 18:15.

Baits used- bluey, squid, sandeel, frozen crab, pilchards

Caught 2 dogs, a 2.4lb strap eel, a 1.8lb pollack and a pb 10.7lb huss.

Dropped a few congers as they surfaced and looked to be around 7lb.

Uncle caught 2 strap eels, a dog and a 1.4lb rockling.
