Hi everyone, can I ask for your advice on which reel capacity size please?

At the moment I have a 9' spinning rod and a Crossfire 3000LT reel, I've done a very limited amount of lure fishing for Mackerel to date.

I'd like to get myself a larger capacity reel, again to be used with lures, but also potentially to fish for flatfish etc af some point in the future. I'll most likely get a larger rod for beach casting at some point too.

I was thinking of getting myself a Penn Spinfisher VII 3500, but I'm unsure if that would be the right sized reel for me? Should I be looking at a larger capacity?

Thanks
