Have any details ref sea trek contacts, please pm
Last time I saw Kev , long while ago just before he wrapped up, I stuck an offer under his nose , which he declined , after an honest chat about the boat itself and what was needed, I was not in a position at the time to lift her out n set her out for the time needed to re gel etc , and apparently she was wet throughout
Wouldn’t mind having a chat and a second look, as possibly running towards early retirement n running another boat out of Grimsby

I did come across this yesterday, but the ad is 'archived' and no date on when it was posted.

Photos. I generally used to go on my own and fish from 30 to 105 miles off. There are no photos from these trips as I did not own a camera, apart from that there was no time to be messing about taking photos - fish to catch and gut!. As an outsider I struggled to get wreck readings off other fishermen, things were not as they are now with most of the wrecks on electronic charts with GPS co ordinates. Decca was all we had. Eventually I collected 100 or so offshore wrecks and caught plenty of fish. 20 pounders on most trips, the occasional 30, landed 17 tons one year. All the 40's had been caught by the time I got started. On my best single handed trip I landed 111 stones gutted Cod, 70 miles off, nothing over 10 lb - busy day. Best ever was 3 rods 143 stones, 70 miles off again, a couple of fish over 30 lots of 20,s. Caught 90% of them in 2 hours off the last wreck. One of the fellows with me on that day had never been sea fishing before. Mike
