B*GGER...I have been trying between Oldbury and the ledges for too long. I also fished a club comp at B-o-S last night, 11 of us 2 rods each...total blank for all of us!!

I have this Harrison Torrix that needs to be christened ...but a feeling that this may be delayed until the spring run up here!! .....Pete's fault mainly...(I'm not a tackle tart ...honestly!!)

I had stopped posting on here because people just start chucking a load of bollox on the thread......
Equally on another thread recently some other good contributors who actually post catch reports which I enjoy reading made me feel a little guilty, I read theirs but dont post in return, thats not really cricket in my opinion.
I would appreciate it if any comments are limited to fishing comments.

Catch Report Chesil 11th Dec.

So @J Richards and I fancied a social we had not got out together for a while and the weather was mild so we went to West Chesil.
The choice was to fish in the whiting shoals looking for something that eats whiting, either a big snake or a cod....
Bait was all the shite we had left in the freezer our expectations were not very high, Chesil has been tough the last month.
We caught rubbish solidly throughout the session and the filleting knife was busy on some decent whiting....... then bosh!.
Its funny I was the worst prepared I have been all year....... my best one so far, 9lb and change.

Its was the smallest 9lb’er i’ve ever seen. It looked so much bigger but was a fin perfect fish.

Caught a quick glimpse of the cod yesterday as was skimming through before having to go out.
Well done Pete, thats a cracker , hope you get a few more like it before the season ends.

Sounds as though it was a cracking fish, pity it was removed as we’re not seeing many pictures of cod so far this year, a big well deserved fish by all accounts. Shame some people are quite negative about some reports
