Well if they want easy fishing I guess, lack of fish is generally the downside!

I'll prob end up there one day,..... When I basically can't walk.... Def not before ?

And Tat.... It's a shite mark mate.... Loads of better marks.... Prob most tbh ??

I hear of VERY few half decent fish from there and when you think of how many fish it...

My rule of thumb is basically if you can park up and fish out of the back of your van, it’s probably shite, so keep on driving.

And the way they sit out on the pavement in their deckchairs ??‍??‍??‍ FFS as you say, unless you’re 90 and can’t walk, no excuse lol

I feel its best to leave such marks to those less physically able, lads that struggle to get about etc.
It comes to us all eventually.... I'll be glad of such marks one day ?..... And like everywhere, you always have a chance of something nice.... If not often.

I don’t enjoy fishing in crowds or on the road side, so I’m more than happy to walk further or access the more awkward spots and leave them to it.

Huh!! Bet towrag would catch something if he fished there!!!! Notice I said "something"! Lol I can't fish some of the places that I used to fish so prefer easy marks,up and down rocks are hard for me.

To be fair the guy in question is a top angler and he only popped there for an hr arfter haveing a sesh on porlock he had an eExact mark that will chuck up good rays but on this day he had a good Huss he even said if some one was on that mark he whouldnt have bothered With any other spot along there . I fished it once when I first started out but now prefer to get away from the crowds so stop giveing me 5hite fish boy ??????

He did well to get the fish and fair play, but in the scheme of Blue Anchor it’s a one in a million fish I’d say.

Pretty unusual to see a decent sizeable huss along there tbh

You'd be surprised what you can catch at blue anchor! Pick your tides wisely and it's one of the best marks on the channel. It's just that most people who fish it, don't really know how to get the best out of it. There are a few channel records that have been caught there. I'm not going to talk about other people's fish because I don't want to break anyone's trust but personally I've had a 30lb+ eel from there and hounds to 15lb, I even got spooled there once lol. Its one of those marks that most of the time is pants, but occasionally throws up special fish.

I like Blue Anchor! Maybe not the wall, but walking along the beach towards Dunster can see some nice fishing.
