Ah I got the wrong Jay lol I've still not grown a pair try a multiplier yet. How much distance do you think can be gained on average switching from fixed to multi Ian?Not Jay the Ray, he's a mangle user, Jay Pickup got 007.
Ian.
That's hard to say mate, as I have never used a FS reel, but multi's do tend to go further overall. But distance is not the be-all and end-all, but does help at times i would say.Ah I got the wrong Jay lol I've still not grown a pair try a multiplier yet. Yeah all fair points. I really like the idea of a multi but I feel at my skill level (fairly average) I'm not sure the advantages will outweigh the extra agro. Fishing fixed spool is easy and hassle freeThat's hard to say mate, as I have never used a FS reel, but multi's do tend to go further overall. Multipliers are a learning curve if you have never used one.
