Acquired three of the new limited edition Akios Shuttle 656's, only 100 produced. Individually numbered reels. (y)

The reels have chromed brass side plates, just like my Abu chrome rockets, and pretty descent build quality, they weigh 400gms, so not quite as heavy as the rockets. :)

These look cracking reels Ian. What numbers did you manage to acquire? I know Simon the owner of Akios has kept number 001 and Tony from Tony's Tackle in Eastbourne has got number 100
My reels are numbers 44, 68 and 75. (y)

I know Tony had 100, his mate Chris had 99 and another angler from his channel had 7.

Yeah I think it was a guy called Jay the Ray that got 007, but cant remember for sure
Not Jay the Ray Carter, he's a mangle user, Jay Pickup got 007.

Ah I got the wrong Jay 🤦🏼‍♂️ lol I've still not grown a pair try a multiplier yet. How much distance do you think can be gained on average switching from fixed to multi Ian?
That's hard to say mate, as I have never used a FS reel, but multi's do tend to go further overall. But distance is not the be-all and end-all, but does help at times i would say. (y)

Multipliers are a learning curve if you have never used one.;)

Yeah all fair points. I really like the idea of a multi but I feel at my skill level (fairly average) I'm not sure the advantages will outweigh the extra agro. Fishing fixed spool is easy and hassle free 😁

The plan is to spool the reels with the Trabucco line, 30lb 0.32, normally use Asso Ultra Cast 16lb 0.32 or Varivas 15lb 0.35.
