Though I'd rather spend that sort of money on Noel.
Some of my stellas have been thrashed for a decade doing some heavy duty stuff and they are still mechanically perfect. They have the odd scuff or scratch but who cares.
So its just false economy to buy something which is just not as good (perfect line lay, great retrieve, amazing drag) and replace it every couple of years.
Quite often especially this time of year you can find a bargain on the bay.
I also rate the saltigas.... although the finish is not as good.
