South East July showdown!

It was a surprise July ray for me. I’m trying to catch one in every month of the year. Not sure exactly where you are but the fish baits usually do the damage ?

East Devon we had a really early run on them but I missed the window but ussaly pick up se right thru but haven’t had one not even on my banker mark theres a lot of netters out in the bay think that’s had a Detrimental affect on it hopefully see some yet tho??

Yeah I will be this week been spending too much time carping but don't mind digging in 18 degrees not 28 lol guna have a go for bass I think maybe hounds if calms off .

Yep I will be out hopefully 2 nights this week if the wife signs the permission slip! FYI I’ve kind of stopped using lug for the bass at the moment, whole squid has been doing the damage all summer picking up the hounds and the bass for me. I’ve missed a lot of bites (probably smaller bass) but it has sniffed out the better fish ?

Yeah 90% of the time I have whole squid out round here ... had couple nice hounds and rays on it this year..no bass on it yet but lack of effort ...more on crab n lug
