It was a funny old morning session, dogs galore (14), rain, sleet. high winds, stellular views, a red sky in the morning and, a new PB cuttlefish for me on the trusty Yamashita 490 glow (pink) jig.
After tinkering about for squid for some time to keep me occupied, this 2lb 11oz & 5/8 turned up just before first light. It would probably be a bit bigger if it hadn't completely emptied its ink sacks on me while trying to get my jig back from its beak, I had to laugh. I had a little tinker with lures at first light but, no joy, just one peck at a Savage Gear sandeel. It seems a bit of a space-themed post with the alien-like creature and a sky full of stars.
