Well it was hard going again today conditions were like yesterday but the wind had changed direction from the west and was a lot stronger than predicted. Me and my mate got there for 3.30 high water at 5 ISH. Every time we chucked a lure out the bow in the line was a pain the with wind and the current brought the lures into the side, so we decided to fish the beach with the sand banks to our backs for a bit of shelter from the wind which proved to be a result.
After about 20 mins I had a couple of hits but nothing connected
.
So stopped for a coffee and a smoke then got back at it with a change of lure the V2 I was using yesterday 1st cast bang fish on not much of a fight and didn't feel that big but it was a fish
turned out to be another lil bass
About the same size as yesterday so I didn't bother measuring it, unhooked and safely returned.
I had a few more hits in the next hour then it went dead my mate had nothing again
. He will get one eventually but he says he enjoys just being out and not stuck in the house.
There was a bloke fishing to the left of us had nothing so looks like I was the only one the caught something, hopefully the bigger ones will show up soon till then have fun
