Passing time waiting for the bass to show

So targeted the mighty pollack on lures as I've never fished for them so weren't expecting much sea temp 7'9c just a bit low for bass but you never know
Well ened up with 4 pollack 2 at 40/45cm
Dropped 3 so target achived

The lure was a cheap minnow 8gr from Ali
i was selli g my Hto lure game but it cast that 8g a fair old way and handle the fish with ease
They fight like fcuk so will be going again until the bass show

Had a day on them last year when it was far to hot and sunny for the bass so headed to a deeper spot was nearly a fish a cast nothing really of any size but good sport mostly taken on a fiiish crazy sandeel
