Years back I used to use mustad 4446b hooks.
They were a fine wire hook that could bend to shape when needed.
The newer type just seem a bit stiffer.
Only use them for flatties to a size 2-4,always suited Thames Estuary fishing.
So any recommendations for a similar style hook.
A fine wire reliable hook that will bend out if snagged up as for the Thames fish 10lb amnesia even thinking going lighter still on hook lengths.

Also is there a fine wire circle hook I might have a dabble with.
Not much call for fine wire circles I would have thought. They rarely snag in the same way as J hooks and people tend to use smaller circles so want stronger hooks to stop them "unwinding". Someone out there might know different though

Kamazan b940m size 4. Any self respecting fishermans flounder staple.
Have them ,but as said prefer to try a fine wire.
Have a couple of boxes of b490 on top of rigs already made.
Same as plenty of mustad Aberdeen hooks.
What it comes down to was years ago before internet you would mail order.
I had a load of hooks from Dave Dicwra through sea angler mag.
So when younger went for the thicker wire.
Then just by chance had some old mustad 4446b that were ideal.
But with progress they made the hooks a bit stiffer.
Have been given plenty of options .

I use the 4446NPB Nordic Bend a lot for species hunting, you can bend the hook easily to make your size 4 into a 6 or smaller to suit the conditions and target fish, that gives you a small gape hook with a long shank to give something to grip to unhook. They bend out of weed and I think that the offset helps hookups too.
