Alright guys, just a quick report ...

I nipped out for a couple of hours this afternoon, it was absolutely bitter down at the harbour, I experienced rain and sleet, I could barely even press the buttons on the camera by the end of the session, dexterity was completely gone. I had 4 bream, 1 ballan wrasse and one pollock. It wasn't electrifying fishing but, a lot of fun on 3.5g LRF lures and 12g metals jigging. I guess I can't complain in a northeasterly and I am lucky we can fish whenever we choose. My thoughts go out to all of you guys in England.
Cheers, Chris

There may be some good news from the Govt tomorrow, we'll see. AT made another statement this evening.
I just hope that they have said "stay at home"

Unless some are happy to not comply with advice about spreading C19

I think what we are supposed to do is comply with legislation provided by the government of the place that we reside. That is your obligation as a citizen. I would take some time to better understand the other impacts of this, there are many, as well as the benefits associated with fishing/exercise to consider.

Agree that there are many benefits.

Ok to go fishing as long as you "walk" to the place!

I can not see any argument that anyone would be able to drive to somewhere to fish, unless they are disabled.

I think we agree then. I haven't seen anyone making an argument for long-distance travel for fishing. Though it's obviously tough for those who are landlocked or far from the sea.

It has not stopped those that have drove many miles to exercise, when the message is clear stay at home.
