South Coast Fat tyre electric bike for Chesil.

My old DT175 went well from the Ferrybridge end but was lethal from Bexi. You have to go pretty quick to stay upright.
But I do think it would work a treat going in from Hive as long as the tides half way and not at HW.
I am standing outside my office in london looking at two Lime electric bikes working out where to cut them to turn them in to a chariot.
Its got you thinking then!

Yep but not a fat wheeled bike..... but its easy to blast down the back of the fleet on a trials bike...... i think taking a grinder to a couple of lime bikes could work.... twin motor trolley the locals here know how to break into these lime bikes and get them free range they are abandoned everywhere up here.

I've seen deliveroo riders in Londonistaan riding them. They're bloody quick and with those giant tyres great for a beach but I think they're prodigiously expensive.
I found one with motors in the front and rear wheels for around Ā£1,500.00.

My converted golf trolley does the sand at Southbourne from the prom to the tide line if you put it to full power and make it wheelie to get the front wheel out of the sand. It struggles with loose shingle. Bigger wheels would help l suppose.

My leccy trolley sails over sand but bexi shingle is the test of everything

Mate of mine just been out and got an electric quad and tbf itā€™s the bollox 4 wheel drive and goes well on rough ground. Be bang on that for all of Chesil. Could even do the footpath behind Cogden and chain it to the gate while ur fishing. Just donā€™t run the hares over on the back of ferry bridge on your way back in the dark.

Seen them used on some fishing videos on sandy beaches in Spain, not sure about the loose shingle at Chesil, but, a cracking ideašŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»

There's a guy on Youtube who's recently been using one for beach fishing in Florida, but like you, not sure how they would cope with loose shingle.

EDIT: Just had a look and he's done a video about the Pros & Cons of E-bike fishing, but on sand not shingle. Haven't watched it yet.

I often dreamed of having a quad bike for Chesil
Similar here Ollie - I dream of one of those Ziesel tracked chairs for Beesands & similar, but a) they're bloody expensive, b) You'd have to trailer it to the Beach, and c) You'd need somewhere to store it & the trailer at home.

Could you get another pair of similar sized Wheels Goatee and bolt them outside of the existing ones?
My sack trucks with wide tyres aren't bad on shingle but thought of adding another pair of wheels to them.
