Don't forget your long casting rods and grip leads etc

Plaice, sole, dabs, tubs... West..
Bream, red Gurnard, rays... East.

Few cod showing at the moment. Much depends on conditions? Could be triggers and bream on the landing craft or Adilade, they normally show up beginning of August, although weather hasn't been great. If its flat and clear Abbo, Bexy or Cogden will produce plaice and sole. First hour of the flood always a few mackerel about, dusk the horse mackerel work the gutter. High or low water in darkness the bass run the gutter looking for scraps of mackerel. Lots depends on how bright and sunny the weather is? Early and late I prefer the west of chesil, prefer the deeper waters of the East end if its a middle of the day session.

Was looking at Ferry Bridge end for Mixed Bag what's your Thoughts on that Aera

Be using my 2 14ft Penn Tidal Rods And Fixed Spool Reels Loaded with Braid I can Put Bait out well over 100yds if that Helps

You've got the landing craft up and over roughly in line with the end of the car park. Holds bream, Gurnard, wrasse and if you're lucky a trigger. The Adilade is a couple of hundred yards walk west of the car park, will hold the same species. If you a feeling fit, the treck up to the camp is always worth it, plenty of tide up there. I've had some cracking plaice, big bream, hounds, undulate rays etc... all along that stretch. The fish can be very close in, especially if the tide is steaming through. If you want to target a Ray, the masonic to check point stretch but the really big casters do best along this area. I'd definitely pack some binged up, pop up rigs, to let swing around in the tide, should pick up various Gurnard on mackerel strip.

Bridging Camp is my favourite mark for a mixed bag.
Less likely to catch flat fish but far more likely to catch trigger, red mullet and sizeable bream IMO.
Also a good chance of rays over high in the morning, although I would want to be fishing 2 hours before sunrise to stand the best chance.
Good luck wherever you end up!

I've had up to 6 plaice in a session up at the camp, they are definitely up there! Normally over 2lb as well. So I wouldn't write them off totally fishing that area!
