North East Boxing Day Bash

Have been out a few times recently and been getting some good sized flounders.
A Boxing Day session was required after the previous day but it was hard going as there was a lot of weed remaining from the recent storms. I thought the session was going to be a blank but in the end was rewarded with a pair of lovely flounders. Both were safely returned and really made my day. Nice to finish the year with a couple of fish. All the best and tight lines in 2025.

Good write up,I ain't seen a flounder caught for years.

We have been catching Flounders in good numbers and size also a few decent Dabs. My pal has recently had small Turbot and a Brill from the same beaches up here (North East Scotland).

You certainly have some good fishing on your doorstep from what I've seen the local YouTube channels
