South West Bottomless Pit

No i was talking about the Yellow Buoy!
Alas no... I ended up warm and dry, although I was so knackered that I kept threatening to fall asleep on my scooter on the 45 min drive home!
As for the Frank Spencer bit... I suppose yes, but in my defence the spot I fish is a pretty dangerous one and I shall never go again alone at night. I broke two ribs on my back in a fall whilst pulling in a Conger. I landed upside down on my back down a sheer rock face, my headlight fell off into the water and the waves were lapping my face. I was hurting like hell and incredibly lucky to get out of that scrape. I still managed to land the eel too in darkness before limping back to my car.
then there was the time I did fall 20ft into the sea owing to wearing shyte sandals, then another time slipping in a downpour and losing my rod to save myself. Also the time when I was stung in the face by a Portuguese man 'o war. Then the time I buggered my knee stepping in a rabbit hole while carrying full kit. The time all my tackle was washed away in a freak wave. Luckily I retrieved my bag of fish with a good cast with a 35g lure. There are more heroics and blunders to tell.
Frank Spencer???
I've outdone him big time!!!
