Headed North to wan of Shetlands premier big fish waters today. Fished exclusively dries all day and had perfect, mild, overcast conditions for it.
Ended up wi somewhere between 40 and 50 measuring broonies with a lot o fish over the pound and 4 fish over 2lb, wi the biggest going 2lb 7oz. The biggies eluded me, but it wis nonstop action all day and was probably my best day at the troots ever I would think. Certainly up there!
Its nice tae catch a loch when it's "on".

Excellent fishing Stu! Sounds like a brilliant day. I do plan on visiting Shetland one day as it’s looks like a nice place.

Cheers, min! It wis absurd at times... double shots and a fish a cast for periods!
It's a beautiful place and weel worth a visit, especially if you bring the rods! :)
