Yeah just around high 3pm it was weigh more than 2.5 meter tho more like 3 to 4
Tat if you can find the tidal hourly flow chart for that area you'd probably find it's to do with tidal flow and times.
chart gives directions of flow plus/minus hours from high tide.
Looked at one on Southend pier in RNLI's station and an eye opener with way tide flows over the whole coast and it's always changing directions over the course of the incoming and out going tide plus it's all to do with depths also as shallower areas filled first.

I’m with you there C we chould keen a lot from the med about eating nothing wasted had dab at my sisters in Spain years ago straight out the sea bit of flour straight in the pan guts an all best fish ever ????

That’s cos usually the stuff they catch in the Med is so tiny they dare not waste a scrap of it ???
