South West At the risk of boring you...

...I had six more mackerel today from West Hoe Pier in Plymouth, two of them big chunky ones that really put a bend in my light float rod.
Also helped a nice couple and their friend who were fishing with hopeless rigs and supermarket prawns catch their first mackerel. Their joy was really heartwarming.
The fish came on at dusk on a rising tide. PH

Well done mate, seems to be loads around at the moment, there's quite a few coming out of Torbay plus lots a Sardines too. Hope they get nice and big by the summer time.
