Realizing now that fishing hole might be a very redneck American thing to say. Hopefully you get the idea. I don't get to the sea very often, but I can go fishing around here all I want. Anyone have any recommendations on spots? I live near Kew Gardens, but I'd be willing to go about an hour by train or car for some good fishing.

Thanks!

Hi used to be able to fish at bushey PK near Hampton court not sure if you have to join tho

Syon Park & Albury have trout lakes it's fly fishing only though.

I've always wanted to try fly fishing.
Only practice and after half and hour you should be ok, you can always book a lesson at Albury or Syon Park, I started back in the 70's and caught on my first day (y)

Albury used to be a good place.
When Tony Hern was running the place, not so good nowadays unfortunately; the fish tend to go around in circles nowadays

Nice! I've caught fish with wall decorations, so I feel good about my chances!
