Went out after hounds again , wind was meant to be quite calm but was met with a big onshore wind and coloured water . Persevered through the weed , which wasn't as bad as Saturday night actually.

Me and a friend fishing this time , dead for about hour and a half and then a flurry of runs with fish upto about 7lbs good fun and another session using braid which I'm starting to like more and more , held much better than the mono in the heavy weed .
Mate had a couple aswell same stamp .

Baits frozen punger and shore crabs using running rigs .

Nice one, I actually used braid again last time out having used mono again more recently when fishing with the fixed spools. Toying of loading a couple of spare spools up with it again.

What’s a punger..?

An edible/ brown crab in peeling stage think it maybe a local name, or an old one not sure, often called that amongst anglers round here though.
