2024.
trip one. 17.01.24 chesil, west bexington,
weather was dry , overcast & cold.
wind was n/e, which helped the casting,
water was pretty much flat , very coloured with occasional foot high swell rolling along the beach.
tides , h/w seemed to be about 10am , dropping away from springs i guess.
arrived about 10am ish , imromtu trip , fished with my youngest son Ronnie.
a cold dry & uninspireing session, baitwize we had fresh & frozen blacks, squid, sandeel & prawn, the usual first trip freezer clear out.
as we arrived we saw what looked like a ' ting caught by an angler in front of the carpark . we walked about a hunderd yards or so south and found just a few sporadic pout from the off.
gave up at lowtide about 4pm, cold n hungry.
