That’s just teasing that is mate!?
I may be tempted to sneak over??

That's fishable,
Big leads and cast low!
The cod are calling!

Kite surfing seems about right. Maybe paddle boarding.

What's the roughest seas you have ever encountered? The worst one was when I was in the merchant navy on a 18,000 ton cargo ship, we was going from Durban to Capetown and hit a hurricane. Flat out doing 8knots and the sea was breaking over the bow, over the funnel and landed on the aft deck.

we get a few surfers braving the weather especially along the beach section and I thought I was mad fishing in it
You don't get any points for hooking one though or part of your species count. ;)

Just a ripple looks like it'll be the dreaded middleton pier again for me at the weekend low water on there for me not to many idiots fish it but I've seen better fish caught around low water than high. God I miss the Streetly pier.

I don't know how high those waves are but down at St Jean De Luz The difference in height between the top of the wave and the bottom, or hole as the surfers call, it was more than 8m the other day!

When it gets to 18-20m high then you call it really rough (y)
