    Blow lug used to be plentiful on my local beaches but with all the sea defences being increased over the last three decades it can be impossible to find areas worth the effort now. A lot of the tackle shops sell rag worm but although they don't like to advertise it most are selling farmed stuff...

    Gomexus Power Handles

    One simply must have a reel for each of ones rods , can't abide a partial tackle tart it has to be all or nothing. Will be some of these handles myself.

    Any idea what this setup is?

    Looks like a very old dated shark or conga wreck fishing setup. Rod would be very heavy by today's standards and reel again big and heavy by today's standards with most using much smaller powerfull reels loaded with braid.

    Only shore for me but I do have shallow and mid water divers but I tend to use the gravity sticks far more .

    Favourite for me, surface patchenko, below down to maybe six feet a toss up between the gravity stick and fiiish minow in olive, windy lumpy water or casting further it's the seaker . Any killers out there I need to try ?

    Sea, fly for bass and sea trout, lure bass sea trout, chub, perch, pike, coarse and carp. May have a go kayaking this year as well.

    Hook choice

    Nice heavy gauge gauge single or treble means your probably not going to pull it straight and get your expensive lure back when snagged.

    Old thread but this is how I was taught to carry my fly rods as it's so easy to move the following tip up or down to avoid obstacles.

    Zziplex is back ?

    My century TT's and T900's only have century engraved on the stainless bands with the serial numbers being just above the shrink tube whipping and above the spigot whipping so assume that are put on a the same time and both are covered in high build.

    Zziplex is back ?

    Agree and I like and own century but have owned zziplex in the past and did briefly have AFAW gbfs which is a nice powerful rod but not as nicely finished and as said above expensive. Some won't buy a rod simply because they consider it to be too expensive even when they could easily afford it...
