    If it was proven i would agree with you on that. There must be a reason though why those Tuna programmes on TV, they are only limited to 1 tuna/day

    Plenty of places here for motor homes in lay bye's and pull ins. Not sure of car parks and front, and definetly not on daughters partners car park here. But plenty of different species, bass all year round.

    Just a question and point. Fly fishing lines use a braided loop connector. Is there any type of this used in sea fishing?

    I fished here one year early session in year only dogs here, was absouletly freezing, only had mackerel as bait took grandson and threw 2 rods out 1 for him and 1 for me. I let him beat me 5 - 3 great fun.

    Bass pic looks well distorted to show bigger than it is. Great catch though. BTW lads fishing here do not use bait attracter to catch many bass, just rely on there local knowledge and experience going back over 40 years.

    I seen it as a kid and scared the 5hit out of me and i will always remember it. Fishing the coast from Grange Over Sands outwards to sea area flatties were the target for angling but some would "tread" the fish in the channels at low tide. seen one bloke doing it when we were digging lugs...

    The thin material like things rods come in i have always known them as "rod bags" I did buy a Reddington fly rod that came in a "bag" which was within a "rod tube" ;) ;)
