Just bought one of these and landed through the door this morning. I’m usually an in between size of M and L and decided to go for a M and the fit is perfect. I must say the initial impression on the quality of the product is outstanding. The test will come in the harsher conditions. Next storm inbound on the weekend so might be a good opportunity to try out. Well done Century

I had a look at these and they seem ideal for under my century smock.. ( bought off Facebook for bargain price as didnt fit the original purchaser) seem being the operative word as the price is far 3 times the amount I paid for a similar product but branded Peter storm from go out doors last autumn. 25 quid with the discount card.

The big downside with 'smock' styled layers is the lack of ventilation during or after a yomp, which rules them out for my shore fishing. Great for easier days afloat on the RIB though. I got given a Century NG smock which does seem good, but I still reach for the faded Musto HPX that's now entering its 17th year and still 100% weatherproof

Have you used this in bad weather yet @meirion658 I'm curious whether or not it keeps the cold winds out well?

I have an i found it very good. I was warm enough but did have a base layer on as well. I'm very impressed with it tbh.
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at getting something like this for days when it's not raining but still cold and windy. How does it come up size wise? If you are wearing layers underneath it would you need to go a size bigger? Cheers

I'm usually a medium/large and on speaking to veals decided to go Medium. I use merino wool base layers that I have for my running so they are thin but extremely effective at keeping you warm and dry.

There plenty of room under for a decent jumper as well if needed. Think they are a generous in size

Thanks for the info @meirion658 I'm usually medium/large also but with it being a smock I wondered if I would need to go bigger to get it on over extra layers. I might see if I can find some in stock locally to check that sizes 🤔

I have slowly grown out of a medium to between the M and L. I went for a large and wear a hoody underneath and it fits perfectly, and it's not too baggy at all.

There pretty warm too surprisingly, and it compresses down really well into a bag/seatbox

Love my century smock, bought one just before Xmas, perfect for my fishing and a well thought out design for fishing with the deep pockets, high neck fleece for wind on the back etc. have been in some pretty rough conditions and often trudging through bracken with no issues.
