Well a mixed day weather and fish wise.wind was meant to be 13mph nw felt more like 18mph!! Very lumpy.
Dave first into the mack and launch. I got some mack and we headed further out to go tope fishing,i had the first one and only one today at 60lb, took both of us to lift it in to the boat!!. Moved closer to shore hoping for bass and another tope, nothing doing, with enough water in the river we headed back in.

How far out were the Mack’s? They seem a bit scarce generally from the usual beaches.

A mile for the bait ones up to 30cm. 14 miles for the big ones up to 42cm.

Probably was it took 2 to get into the boat! But that was a guesstimate.
