Shetlands North of the North Part 2

After my first trip to the Shetlands I got home Tuesday 12th July ..
By the Thursday a friend asked if I was interested again in going … as his mate had had an accident and there was a spare spot..
Quick call to my boss and I was now booked on a 4 day fishing trip leaving the following Sunday 17th..
Sod it your only on the world once..
Leaving Englandshire in the midst of a heatwave we arrived once again in Cullivole to the Shetlands heatwave.. I think it hit 17 degrees at one point ??
This was a different sort of trip to the previous one.. calm seas and good weather saw us heading out to further waters drifting to find the fish ..
It did not disappoint
Once again more Pb’s with a 7lb Haddock and then a 7.5lb haddock rounded off the Haddock PB’s for the trip
Also more PB’s in the coalfish race
With weights to 25lb .. what a bloody fight they give..Biggest cod went 33lb ..
Definitely looking forward to next years trip ..
Maybe a long way and costly but best fishing I’ve ever had and how many can say they have put cod back as they caught so many

I’ve had some great trips this time round.. makes up for lots of poor ones lol
