Shore
Worthing Pier Tuesday 7th June 2021.
First time out since August 2019.
End of the Pier, as arrived a bit early.
A few Romanian people catching ? smelts.
We fished with Rag, a few bites, nothing happened.
Got o try a smelt, something kept eating the heads, so next one had hook into the head, again nothing on one rod, but good old faithful telescope pier rod and braid, single hook kept twitching, so after packing away the first rod, I struck hard, thought it was heavy weed, till it tugged back, nice flight.
My first Ray, about 6lbs in weight. Lovely specimen.
Were here till Thursday ??

Well done. A nice Undulate Ray, you should have printed off a species hunt card.
