Hi all.
Headed to Worbs at the weekend, twas a last minute decision.
I left at 16:00, avoiding the traffic, arriving at 17:30 after a couple of stops for bait and fuel.
Baits didn't hit the water until 20:00, after a quick snorkel to check out the sea bed where I was fishing.
There were a couple of interesting features so I marked these out with a bottle tethered to the seabed with a glow stick in the top.
The sun set and I hadn't caught any mackerel so my attention switched to pout.
After a couple of casts I had 2 good size pout in the bucket so I was good to go.
Live bait sliders were dropped either side of the feature as I sat and waited patiently.
High tide came and went, I was falling asleep in my shelter so I decided to hit the sack.
2am ish, I got woken to the Mrs shouting "your ratchet your ratchet!!!!".
I jumped out of the tent and picked up my rod, to feel something thumping on the end.
After some careful maneuvering, I eventually had this bass on the beach, weighing 7 1/2lbs.
Happy days.
Returned to fight another day, similarly to the remaining pout, that was still fighting fit after 8 hours on my livebait slider.
