Will keep this really short, fished Wednesday night on the West side of the island and initially setup two rods.

Unfortunately though weed was proving to be a bit of an issue so after a couple of casts decided to pack one rod up and alternate on the other between large worm baits and Squid/Sandeel wraps.

Plagued by weed most the night bites were few and far between, eventually though on the ebb I did see the rod tip move! ? which resulted in the ever obliging and extremely greedy Whiting.

Won’t bore you much more but I’ve included a clip, had the whole of the beach to myself, just a shame the fishing was poor. ☹
