After getting my first ever bass on a lure on Sunday, I couldn't wait to get back out and have another go. Finished work at 3 had an appointment at the quacks at 4 everything ok.
Custard informed me we were babysitting tonight feck that I headed back to the north gare at 7.30, high water was at 5 so I was fishing it back.My ear buds in pressed play punk and oi blasting in my lugs I was sorted.
First lure I tried on was a savage gear V2 one after having nothing after half an hour I changed it to one of the ones custard got me for my birthday a bomb squad one and chucked it out as far as I could the wind was behind me and it went a fairway out. I counted to 10 to make sure it was on the bottom. I had about 5 turns of the reel and feck me the bite I got was unbelievable line tearing off I was shitting myself I tried like hell to wind it in and it kept taking line after about 30 seconds I realised the drag wasn't set right 🤔(Muppet). After tightening it the fish came in quite easy oh feck it was smaller than the other one I got1000011807.jpgBut it was another bass I'm on a roll wahoo🏆it went dead after that so I rapped in at 9.30. home at 10. Custard and the grandson both asleep, house to myself sort of. I'm looking forward to getting out again sometime this weekend 👍.
