South West Weekend coming up

What 3 codling , nice , when are the bigger ones coming

Ended on 4 codling biggest just under 4lb. Loads of whiting a chuck. Gave up as the weed was becoming a pain, not catching on the line, having to cast between the rafts, didnt fancy that in the dark.

Well done on the fish . There was plenty of rafts of weed yesterday but it didnt seem to cause much hassle .

4lb codling nice size to eat , well done

I had a lovely session on my tod friday evening. Strictly fresh crab baits with maybe a tip of worm here and there.

I just love this time of year, i much prefer a sea over 1.5m and dont see how so many have so many issues with getting shingled.

My setup was short up and overs with double 7 - 8.0 and crab as bait. Uptiding so no tight lines to the tips but just staying in tune with the line direction. Perfect seas and some really nice fish. I did have what i thought was an absolute lump on. But it turned out to be a codlet with so much weed tangled up. Its a nice feeling when your playing something and your stalemate for some time!

Looking forward to December now!

Nice fish mate , well done

Nice, the sea looked great. I didnt get dumped once. Just plenty of weed rafts making casting difficult, having to pick your spot between them as they floated by.
