Morning peeps
Had a sess east chesil for a bream or early
codling
Wind sw ichopping up the sea went in with loops size1 with black tipped with squid
Not a lot of action until the tide turned had a tub then a reasonable bream target achieved !!
It was really slow so time to put plan b into action, I was watching the bait shoals getting closer rigged up the feathers and waited for the mackerel to arrive
When they turned up 15yd flick 3 for bait
Bum this continuing casting !!!
Set up a up and over fresh Mackey
Within 10 mins classic ray bite then slack line boom into a good ray
Took my time and after a tussle had a beautiful male undulate on the beach
Good double may be 12plus I didn’t weigh him as I wanted to get him back as soon as
In the heat
Thanks to a young lad who helped me and took the photo, really excited so I showed him how to hold the ray and tactics to catch one
I love helping people catch as we all started that journey
Stay lucky
