South West Totnes mullet

I've not been out much but have have been trying the river 10 minutes walk from home in the centre of Totnes.

A lot of fish around including bass, mullet and salmon jumping.

On Sunday I was spinning with a size 4 mepps with a mini power isome and had a good result of 5 thin lipped mullet and a large number of small bass.

I also hooked and lost a few good mullet and hooked something that took a lot of line which I assume was a better bass.

Going to try again in the morning and also take some groundbait for the thicks.

Went down this morning and so much weed it was hard to fish. Caught a few bass and had a few follows from mullet but didn't stay long.

Thats a good mullet haul. Such a great fighting fish especially on light gear.
