Fished 2 rods tonight one pulley clipped with larger baits and a glued 1up 1down rig with size 4 Kamasan hooks.

With a decent surf running and a lovely evening hopes were high on arrival and it didn’t take too long setting up and getting both rods in the water.

And the flapper produced first cast as a little flounder fell foul to some black lug.

And id love to say that from here on it was a fish fest but other than a couple of knocks that unfortunately was it for the evening. ☹️ Larger baits intended for a passing raymundo were coming back untouched. On a different note though, tonight I used my new Damiltech baiting tool and must admit I find it a very good addition to the box and found it very user friendly when preparing the bigger baits.

Just a shame a few more fish didn’t appreciate the effort. Oh well, until next time. ????

Some nice looking baits there. Shame the fish disagreed :(

Lovely sunset mate, such a stunning picture. Well done on the catch and no blank, such a shame nothing else liked your perfectly prepared baits.

Tight lines mate

Hi Kevin, I’ve just joined TSF and catching up on posts. Great pics but a shame the rays didn’t oblige on your perfect baits.
cheers
