I'm off out tonight but not down saarf I'm up norf.going to give my favorite beach a go big low water tide so hopefully be able to fish in the holes of the sand bars.

Very calm sea but bitterly cold so far two tiny things, (hove beach)

The best kept secret is put bait on your hook ,it seems to work lol ,I'm catching 2 whiting a time on pennle rigs ,no chance of a coddy like this

had a go last night hb just couple doggies and whiting looked decent for a ray not sure if any about though have had em round new year.bfore ...u after them or just wetting a line for anything

Yep just fished HB. Was targeting the rays but it was a whiting each cast! They are there, just need to get past the tings...

worth a try m8 anyway...i reckon most the whiting will move off next few weeks . 1 of the dogfish I caught had a whole small whiting in its mouth lol

I’ve been trying that tactic for ages, still yet to get a munch but I’m sure one day I will!

Let’s hope they move on soon. I was planning to fish sandwich tomorrow morning after the dabs, but too cold to drag my boy down the beach with me! Dogfish are an interesting breed, they will eat anything!
