I just read in this mornings Times newspaper that the Welsh government are planning to install 5 x 100kW tidal generators on the sea bed to provide power to the lighthouse and dwellings (all 12 of them) on the island.

First, they ban me from travelling to my caravan and boat, now they desecrate my favourite fishing grounds!

I’m seriously thinking of selling up and buying in Tenerife instead!

I agree not good at all. There doesnt seem to be a level playing field. Ive been told i cant go to my boat even to winterize it, its not really a problem as i will be keeping it up and running but still ridiculous. I know of 2 people who have been at their caravan for a week now in Aberystwyth, how they have managed that i have no idea. I seem to have a constant flow of fisherman from Wales visiting the Carp lake that i am a bailiff on but not my job to police it and obviously dont have the powers to turn them away, plus in my opinion they are doing no harm as long as they have no contact in between, yet i cant go and fish our waters or the sea in Wales as they seem to have police patrols on borders stopping the English. ?‍♂️
