Yes guys a Thursday night report , after the recent bad weather and a couple of blank sessions the weather window opened for me . After sourcing £20 of lug .8C0FB508-E89F-4E1A-970D-62B00295D46F.jpeg. I headed out at 7pm to a local Mark to fish the last 3 hours of the ebb , I was using 2 hook flappers with size 1 hooks , first rod out by 7.30 , bang fish on great at least it’s not going to be another blank , a double shot of pout not what I was after but it’s a fish .DDC15262-D91E-4AC8-B4C7-8501A15E436B.jpegDDC15262-D91E-4AC8-B4C7-8501A15E436B.jpeg.sorry it went in twice .
then the other rod went still with its first bait on and this love bass came out , all the bass I caught were around the pound Mark .
BF7850AA-FE47-4F8C-B705-AB2BE9650D4B.jpeg.great target achieved, after a little while I went down to one rod as I couldn’t keep up with the fish , then joe sw turned up for a visit great to see him again , he picked up the rod and baited up, within a couple of minutes bang fish on I think it was pout or whiting as we were getting plenty of them in between the bass ,then I think he had a bass or 2 , after a while he had to go .I carried on with 2 rods for a short time then had to go back to one , I packed up at 10.30 all my bait had gone , I could not tell you how many fish I had but it was a really busy night with a few 5 minutes of rest in between.I had a great mixture of small pout nice size whiting and lovely bass the bass were all about the same size around the pound , all went back alive all lip hooked , I was using estuary rods with 20lb braid so it was great fun , a great end to February, roll on March .oh and I finished the night on a double shot of fish .
