I told custard a few weeks back there's a fine line between fishing and insanity.
She's just informed me I've crossed over the line I'm totally nuts. I'm off out again tonight for a late shift midnight till about 8am I'm going to fish the Middleton peir it should be sheltered being in a bay the heugh peir usually takes a battering sheltering the Middleton low waters around 3am hopefully the wind won't go nuts later and play havoc with my rod tip again it didn't know which way to blow last week I couldn't keep up with it it was like a crazy Harry potters wand was having a fit. Not bothered about it being cold or wet float suit thermal wellies and petrol hand warmers and a flask of coffees got that sorted. My ammunition for this weekend are some of these bad boys and fresh mussle and cart wings. I'll put the report up tomorrow bearing in mind this peir is my nemesis I don't do to good on there catch wise when everyone around me does. Tonight could be my night for a biggun.
