South East The danger of using two rods!

Another decent night on the hounds last night. Started over low with just a couple of smaller fish to show for it at 5lbs 4oz and 4lbs 14oz.
I moved as the tide came in and straight away at the 2nd spot I had a massive bite and a really strong fish on, I got it to within 15yds of the shore but lost it climbing over a breakwater! ?
I wasn’t waiting long for another pull though when the issue of using two rods reared it’s head.... I was playing one when the other screamed off!! Thankfully, it stayed on long enough for me to land the first (6lbs 6oz) and still get going with the 2nd, that came in at 9lbs 4oz!
I fished until high with just one more pup and a double hook up of dogs to finish the night!

Same used to happen to me cod fishing. Id be engaged in battle with one bucket mouth when the other rod would lurch over!
